Yaka Studio x Alja Horvat

Alja Horvat collaborated with Yaka Studio in 2019 to create two prints for their first collection.

Yaka Studio is a pattern-based brand created by two sisters who are obsessed with anything old that are carefully-thought and masterfully-crafted, one of a kind pieces. One can say the hours easily spent in flea markets, vintage and antique fairs set the foundation for the brand.

What made them even more excited about Yaka is their passion for bold, confidence-boosting patterns and expression in colors. Therefore, channelling the love of detailed and crafted things and putting pattern-making at the center created the brand Yaka Studio.

The first pattern “Ain’t enough flowers” is additional member of their women collection, embraces one of a kind features special to its creator Alja Horvat.

The color palette is mainly green, with the touches of blue, yellow and orange, offering a fresh look for every season. It’s an artwork that could certainly make your day when you put it on!

The second pattern “Not Today” pattern captures the days, moments we all crave for. Sundays that deserve proper laziness, comfiest clothes and our favorite cocktails. Doing something that just we want or doing nothing at all! Taking a moment for yourself only.

Don’t miss out the unique details in the drawings, eye-popping pots and tiny juicy lemons.
